(তোমাদের বলেছিলাম, কিছুদিন অপেক্ষা করো, আমি লিখে দেবো কি পরিমান হিন্দু মন্দির ধবংস করা হয়েছে মুসলমানি শাসনে। সীতা রাম গোয়েলজীর একটি অতি সুন্দর বই আছে। নাম,“Hindu Temples: What happened to them? সেই বই থেকে কিছু উদাহরন তুলে দিলাম । এ ছাড়া আরো অনেক ছোট বড়ো মন্দির আছে যার খতিয়ান আজ আর করা সম্ভব নয়। হিন্দু ভারত, বৈদিক ভারত আরবী /তুর্কী দের দ্বারা ধুলিস্যাৎ হয়ে গেছে। যা পড়ে আছে সেটা হলো এক গলিত শব।।
গোয়েলজী লিখছেন--------------- লিষ্ট অতি দীর্ঘ। জানি না ক'জনের পড়ার ধৈর্য বা সময় আছে।

In Jaipur the Jami Mosque in Amber was a Temple site.
In Jaipur the Jami Mosque and Tripolia Darwaza at Naraina have been made by Hindu Temple materials.

In Tiruparankunram the Sikander Mosque is at top the hill and stands amidst the ruins of Brahmanical, Buddhist and Jain Temples.

Uttar Pradesh
In Agra the Jami Mosque by Jahanara, Kalan Mosque, Humayun Mosque, Dargah of Kamal Khan, Chini ka Rauza, Fatehpur Sikri Complex, Sikandra Complex were either once Temples sites or have been made by Temple materials.
In Aligarh the Idgah, Dargah of Shykh Jalal-ud-din Chisti and a Mosque were Temple sites.
In Allahabad the Fort of Akbar was a Temple site. Same with Qadim Mosque and the Jami Mosque.
In Azamgarh Mosque at Dobrighat and Ganjahar were Temple sites.
In Bahraich the Dargah of Salar Mas-ud-Ghazi was a Suryadeva Temple.
Jami Mosque in Balia was a Temple site.
In Bara Banki district the Imambara, Dargah of Haji Waris Ali Shah and the Mosque at Fatehpur were Temple sites.
In Bijnor the Fort and the Mosque inside it at Kiratpur has Temple materials used in it.
